Central Park Wedding Pictures

Central Park Wedding Pictures showcase the most visited urban park in the United States. Central Park is 843 acres of space within New York City that has been dedicated to providing city-dwellers and visitors with a natural oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. The park was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1962 and it has provided visitors with beauty that is magnified by history for decades. The Central Park Wedding Pictures from the wedding of George Dennis and Chaimae were taken on a summer Friday in July of 2010. The couple was married in an elegant ceremony at the Plaza Hotel, another iconic location in New York City. The marriage ceremony was followed by a lavish reception in one of the ballrooms of the Plaza. It was a quintessential New York City event, with the bride and groom surrounded by friends, family, and the splendor of the Big Apple. At one point, I took George Dennis and Chaimae to Central Park for portraits. I wanted to capture the newlyweds in a natural setting within in the city after photographing them in the magnificence of the Plaza Hotel. In this photo, the bride and groom are seen as silhouettes against a backdrop of greenery. The summer sun still shines above the scene, highlighting the foliage that fills the background of the image. George Dennis and Chaimae stand beneath a bridge in Central Park, shaded from the afternoon heat. Their figures lean in towards one another, about to kiss, one of the first they share as a husband and wife. It is magical moment in one of New York City’s most enchanting locations.
