Locusts on Hudson Wedding Pictures

Locusts on Hudson Wedding Pictures are set at one of the many historical, picturesque estates located in the Hudson Valley area of New York state. The property was first owned by Henry Brockholst Livingston in the 1700s. In 1797, Livingston determined that the estate would be named “The Locusts” because of the black locust trees that were planted about the grounds. In the following years, Locusts on Hudson would be passed into the hands of a variety of owners, until 2004, when a renowned hotelier, André Balazs, purchased the property and restored it to its original elegance and charm. Over the many years of residence, parties, and special occasions, the estate has hosted presidents, royalty, captains of industry, stage and screen stars, artists, and musicians. In this image from Locusts on Hudson Wedding Pictures, the location is seen as a wedding venue, a place to celebrate the love of the bride and groom, Lindsey Free and Dan Collin. The ceremony and reception took place on Saturday, July 30th in 2011. It was a beautiful summer day, with the marriage ceremony taking place right on the Hudson River. The river can be seen in the picture, flowing quietly in the background as Lindsey and Dan say “I do”. The scene of the wedding is enchanting, with the bride and groom standing before a single large tree, under a canopy of flowers, with the bright summer sun shining down on them, blessing their union. The photo is like an image from a fairytale, although this is not the end of the story for Lindsey and Dan - it is the beginning of a wonderful new chapter.
