A Wave Hill Wedding is situated on an iconic New York estate that has hosted a variety of historical characters over the years. Today, Wave Hill is a public garden and cultural center, and one of New York City’s hidden gems. As a result of this, the Bronx venue is only available for a Wave Hill Wedding in the hours when it is not open to the public. The wedding of Weston and Gabrielle, took place on this magnificent property on a beautiful Saturday in May of 2011. The occasion was one that reveled in the celebration of the love shared by the bride and groom. It was a truly merry evening, with nearly every guest up and dancing before the night was through. The Wave Hill reception was held in an elegant event tent, with elaborate red flooring added to the space and twinkling fairy lights hanging from strings that reached across the ceiling. At this point in the night all of the male guests have shed their suit and tuxedo jackets, giving them more ability to move about in the heat of this early summer night. This image from the reception is a symbol of how joyful a day the wedding of Weston and Gabrielle was. Each person in attendance could feel the love that radiated from this bride and groom, and all were swept up in the festivities that followed their picturesque and heartfelt marriage ceremony.
