Wave Hill Wedding Photography

Wave Hill Wedding Photography displays the magnificent property of a historic Bronx, New York estate. The original Wave Hill house was built in 1843, in the style of an English Country residence. That house has been visited by and lived in by the likes of writer Mark Twain, publishing scion William Henry Appleton, J.P. Morgan partner George W. Perkins, conductor Arturo Toscanini, chief members of the British Delegation to the United Nations, and a young future-president Theodore Roosevelt. Today, Wave Hill is one of the 33 cultural institutions owned by New York City. The property is a vibrant oasis in the midst of the bustling city, and it offers programs in Horticulture, Environmental Education, Woodland Management, and the Visual and Performing Arts. The main goal of the estate is to foster connections between people and nature. This image, from the Wave Hill Wedding Photography that documented the celebration of Weston Gaddy and Gabrielle Slome, shows the natural beauty that abounds on the property of this venue. The sun beams down in the photo, blessing the happy occasion and highlighting the figures of the bride and groom. Spring is in full bloom, with pink and white flowers found all about the scene. White petals create a beautiful natural walkway on the natural green grass of the aisle, scattered there earlier by the flower girl. Westen and Gabrielle shine in this moment, radiant in the combined glow of the sun and their love. It is a scene from a day that no one in attendance will forget.
