A Yale University Church Wedding is a wonderful occasion to witness. The Yale University Church Wedding of Miroslav and Jessica took place at Christ Church in New Haven, Connecticut in early January of 2012. It was a beautiful winter day, with the bride and groom at the center of family and friends who had gathered to support them and their union. In this photograph from Miroslav and Jessica’s wedding, family members prepare for the ceremony. These guests will each play an important role in the celebration - from the bride’s father who will be escorting her down the aisle, to other family members who will be sharing readings. This image depicts the happy anticipation shared by the bride and groom’s loved ones. The guests pictured are smiling broadly, with the joy of the day radiating from the expressions on their faces. They are ready to share this blessed day with Miroslav and Jessica; to stand as witnesses as the bride and groom say “I do”. The guests stand in the back of the church, surrounded by Christmas decorations that have not yet been put away. Behind the group, a manger sits, with evergreens and poinsettias situated on either side of it. The lighting in the room is warm, adding to the sense that this is truly a day on which love is being shared and celebrated. Soon, the guests will take their places throughout the church and music will play to signify the beginning of this incredible wedding day.
