Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art Wedding

A Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art Wedding is a magical event that is a unique space for a wedding reception. At this time, the museum is not hosting weddings or fundraising events, but in the past a Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art Wedding has been a wonderful option for an extra special Hartford wedding. This photo is a perfect example of museum’s ability to combine modern design with elegant architecture. In the lower half of the photograph, the images and coloring are set in neutral tones. At the top of the image, vivid colors swirl in patterns of various blocks. Vibrant green, blue, purple, yellow, orange, and red flow across the wall like waves of rainbows, giving the picture a special flare. On either side of the image, a winding stone and marble staircase leads down to a marble platform, bringing to mind a lavish castle staircase from a fairytale like Beauty and the Beast. The banisters of the two grand staircases are adorned with carvings of intricate floral designs. Also decorated with carvings are tall white stone candelabras that flank the marble platform. At the center of all of this artistic splendor stand the bride and groom. Behind the couple a tall iron door rises up into the colors above. The ironwork of the door is delicate and magnificently crafted. The couple embrace before this opening, holding one another close on their magical day. The bride’s lace veil trails behind her as her tilts her head back to receive a kiss from her husband. It is a beautiful moment, shared by the newlyweds in a space the celebrates beauty in all of its forms.
