Capitale Wedding Photography

Capitale Wedding Photography displays one of New York City’s most lavish wedding venues. A historical landmark, the building was originally designed by Stanford White and built in 1893 as  the Bowery Savings Bank. Since then it has become a prime event space in New York, with a Grand Ballroom and interior design that will dazzle guests. The Capital boasts features such as tall Corinthian columns, an exquisitely designed coved ceiling, and an art glass skylight in the Grand Ballroom. This image, selected from the Capitale Wedding Photography that documented the wedding of Danielle Katzap and Andrew Goodman, shows the groom and one of his groomsmen. The wedding ceremony and reception were both held at the Capitale on Saturday, September 17, 2011. It was a gorgeous day in the Big Apple, and a perfect day for a classic, magnificent NYC wedding celebration. In the picture, two of the groomsmen are making their way to the ceremony, riding bikes along the sidewalks of New York City. The two men wear black tuxedos with white dress shirts and black bow ties. They each have on sunglasses and ride identical black bicycles with wooden boxes situated over the back wheel for storage. The picture is reminiscent of an image of the Beatles, or some other famous musicians, casually making their way to an event in a unique fashion. The groomsmen seem incredibly at ease on their ride, taking their time as they peddle past the various sights and scenes offered by this iconic city.
