Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers Wedding

A Lighthouse Chelsea Piers Wedding provides couples and their guests with incredible views of the Hudson River and beyond. The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers is a unique waterfront venue that is perfect for those looking for a classic New York City wedding with a spectacular view. The highlight of this sophisticated space is the expansive windows that look out on the river and allow guests to take in the elegant figure of the Statue of Liberty. This image from a Lighthouse Chelsea Piers Wedding is focused less on the venue though, and more on the bride as she makes her way to the celebration. The bride, Narissa, and her groom, Rich, celebrated their nuptials at the Lighthouse on a rainy Friday evening in March of 2010. The rain did not dampen the spirits of the couple or their guests, and it made for some very special New York City wedding photos. In this picture, the bride carefully makes her way across the puddled city streets, dancing in between the raindrops as she goes. Cars speed past and the city appears to be going about its typical day under the cloudy gray sky, except for the bright figure of the bride in the far-right of the photograph. She is radiant in her white wedding gown and she carries a bright red umbrella that gives the image a pop of vibrant color. Her dress swirls about her high heels as she steps over the pavement, and she glances down to make sure the hem of the gown has not gotten wet. Narissa and the love that shines forth from her create a beautiful spot of joy on an otherwise mundane day.
