These two locations make up the lovely Wedding Barns of Maine, which have been recognized nationally for the charming, breathtaking events that are held at each location. The Barn on Walnut Hill is an especially wonderful place for a wedding ceremony and reception, with a recently renovated barn and adjoining farmhouse. As the Maine Wedding Photographer for Bretton and Ryan, I made sure to capture every moment of magic and bliss. This picture from their marriage ceremony shows the bride and groom standing beneath a pristinely white wooden archway that has been decorated with vibrant green chains of flora. The scene looks like a picture that was taken from a storybook, with Bretton and Ryan standing alone in the bright clearing, gazing into one another’s eyes as though they truly are the only two people to exist in the world. The setting for the ceremony was on the property of the Barn on Walnut Hill, in a wooded area nearby the barn. In the picture, Bretton and Ryan appear completely content, wrapped in the love and complete joy of their special day. Overhead, the summer sun shines brilliantly, and it reaches down between the branches of the trees that surround the newlyweds. The couple embraces each other with the sunlight beaming around them, giving the scene an almost ethereal glow. It is an image that emcompasses the feeling of enchantment that coursed throughout this beautiful event.
