A Todd’s Point Park Wedding is perfect for a couple who values the beauty of the natural world. The Todd’s Point Park Wedding of Stephanie and Casey were married in a church ceremony in Greenwich, Connecticut on Saturday, July 7, 2012. The previous Tuesday, however, the couple had a Marriage of the Spirit Ceremony at Todd’s Point. Todd’s Point, more officially known as Greenwich Point Park, is a beautiful overlook along the coastline of Connecticut. Stephanie and Casey held their spirit ceremony here, and joined one another in a marriage of souls before their more formal marriage in the church. The ceremony was performed by White Buffalo Woman, Eve Kerwin, who is a friend of the newlyweds. The only other people present for this intimate celebration were Stephanie’s parents, who wanted to witness their daughter’s happiness at every occasion. In this image, the bride and groom stand in an affectionate embrace on top of the rocks that line one of the pathways of Todd’s Point. I took some of the pictures from a distance and for this shot I laid down in the grass to give the photo the effect of the hazy green hues that dance around the image of the couple. The green adds to the focus on spirit and the natural chemistry that exists between these two wonderful people. Standing with one another amidst the serenity of the scene that surrounds them, Stephanie and Casey look completely content. It was a true privilege to witness this special day, shared by two amazing individuals.
