Kiana Lodge Wedding

A Kiana Lodge Wedding is a delightful experience for all who attend. Kiana Lodge is a rustic haven in Washington state, and a magical place to hold a wedding. The lodge provides couples and their guests with a space touched by natural elegance. The area is marked by the fragrant scent of the lodge’s gardens and by the calming smell of the salty sea air. Kiana Lodge is only a 30 minute ferry ride from Seattle, and its simple, yet sophisticated atmosphere makes it a perfect place for a wedding celebration in the great Northwest. The Kiana Lodge Wedding of the couple pictured, Nic and Michi, took place in the spring of 2010 on Bainbridge Island. In the image, Michi walks along the grounds of the lodge with Nic and one of his groomsmen. The trio enjoy the scenery provided by the island, breathing in the fresh Washington air as they stroll towards the wedding reception. The bride, Michi, smiles and glances down, as she walks carefully over the bright green of the manicured lawn. The groom, Nic, walks slightly behind her, so that he can hold up the train of her gown. He is cautious to keep the soft fabric from brushing over the grass. Michi’s gown is lovely, with an ivory silk layer beneath a top layer of white lace. Her chocolate brown hair dances over her shoulders in loose curls, pulled back by a white feathered barrett. In one hand she holds up the front of her dress, and in the other she carries a vibrant bouquet. The bouquet is made up of bold pink flora, a bright symbol of the love that flowed throughout this day.
