Tribeca Rooftop Wedding

A Tribeca Rooftop Wedding is an incredible event that provides couples and their guests with exceptional views of the New York City skyline. The Tribeca Rooftop is a sophisticated event venue, with its most prominent feature being a 65-foot long skylight. The skylight adds a special flare to any occasion, allowing for the sunlight to naturally illuminate the day or the stars and city lights to highlight the events of the night. Bride and groom Laura Schechner and Andrew Milano held their August nuptials at the Tribeca Rooftop on a Saturday in 2011. The day was the epitome of what one would think a classic New York City wedding would be. This image shows the bride and groom walking down the city streets just after their wedding ceremony as they make their way to the reception at the event loft space. The sky above gleams so brightly that it appears white. The streets blaze under the attention of the late-summer sun, and the stones that the couple step over shine. The city is relatively quiet at this time, in this area, and the newlyweds are able to share a rare moment of relative tranquility as they step forward hand-in-hand. The groom, Andrew, sports a traditional black suit as a parades down the center of the street with his wife. The bride, Laura, wears an elegant white, strapless gown, that seems to float around her as she walks. She holds a corner of the dresses skirt to keep it from dragging on the ground and it blows gracefully about her as a light breeze brushes over the pair. Soon the couple will be surrounded by family and friends at their reception, but for now they are content to simply walk with each other.
