A Bainbridge Island Wedding is set amidst the natural wonders of Washington state. The event venue on this island, Kiana Lodge, is an enchanting location for any special occasion, especially a wedding. The Bainbridge Island Wedding of Nic and Michi took place on May 29 on a gorgeous summer weekend in 2010. In this image from the wedding, Nic walks along a pathway towards the main house with some of his groomsmen, enjoying the nature that surrounds them and the tranquil scene provided by the lodge. The black and white photograph depicts the timelessness of this moment shared by the groom and his friends. To their left, the manicured lawn of Kiana Lodge stretches out under the Washington sun. Before the foursome, some of the lodge’s rustically charming buildings stand. Each structure is made up of wood, with large open windows and solar panels on the roof. The property is surrounded by the lush forests that populate this area of the Northwest. Trees and foliage tower over the buildings and bow in the breeze as the men walk forward. The photo is a symbol of the friendship that marked much of the moments that made up this wonderful wedding weekend. Nic and Michi were constantly surrounded by natural beauty and by the warmth of the affection showered on them by their loved ones. The day was both a tribute to love and a tribute to the camaraderie that is shared by the bride and groom, their bridal party, and their guests.
