A Barr Mansion Wedding is a wonderful event set at one of the best venues in Austin, Texas. Barr Mansion is a unique venue that traces its roots back to 1898. The main house on the estate is the ornate Eastlake Victorian home that graces the grounds, with an added event space. The structure used for weddings is the Artisan Ballroom, the gem of the estate. The ballroom was created from portions of an 18th century Dutch barn shipped to Austin from New York. Using the reclaimed barn to form the magical space of the Artisan Ballroom is perfectly in line with the values of the estate. Barr Mansion prides itself on being luxurious, yet also eclectic and organic. This photo from the Barr Mansion Wedding of Mei Zee and Kenny took place on Saturday, October 1, 2011. The occasion was a lovely event, more than worthy of the space it was held in. In this image, Mei Zee and Kenny stand under the porch of the main house as rain falls off the roof, like a waterfall of sequents. The groom, Kenny, gazes down at his wife in adoration, fully immersed in this moment with her. The newlyweds are seemingly alone in this instant, away from the fluttering of loved ones who came to support them as they said “I do”. Kenny wears a traditional black suit, with a gray tie and a white dress shirt. The bride, Mei Zee, returns her husband’s look of love, a smile of pure contentment playing on her lips. Through the curtain of glistening raindrops, the pair make a breathtaking picture of wedding day bliss.
