The couple were married on the beach in Honolulu on the island of Oahu on a beautiful Tuesday in April of 2012. Honolulu is a vibrant Hawaiian city that is a hub for international business and military defense, as well as being a location where one can experience a variety of cultures. The city is considered to be a main gateway to the Hawaiian islands and it is a major portal into the United States. The name Honolulu means “sheltered harbor” or “calm port”. This name fit the celebration of Elyse and Matt well, as the pair found their “calm port” in one another.
