Greenwich Wedding

Greenwich Wedding pictures aren’t complete without a trip to Greenwich Point Park. This Greenwich Wedding found the bride and groom strolling along Todd’s Point, one of the premier beach areas in Connecticut. The bride, Stephanie Pugliese, and the groom, Casey O’Donnell, were married on a gorgeous summer weekend, on Saturday July 7, 2012. The couple said their vows in a heart-warming ceremony at Sacred Heart Church in Greenwich, which was followed by a reception at the Greenwich Hyatt. In between the ceremony and the reception, I brought Stephanie and Casey to Greenwich Point Park, which is known by locals as Todd’s Point. The name Tod’s Point comes from the last private owners of the land, J. Kennedy Todd and his wife Maria Todd. This famous location was the perfect setting to take portraits of the newlyweds before the celebrations at Greenwich Hyatt began. In this image, the couple are a few yards away from the camera, with the sea flowing calming behind them. The pair walk across a white-washed wooden bridge, which takes them over a portion of the grassy dunes. Stephanie reaches her hand back for Casey to catch in his, so that they can continue their walk with fingers intertwined. The bride is radiant in her lace covered dress, with a sheer veil that cascades down the back of her dress to trail behind her as she walks, and the groom is dashing in a traditional black tuxedo. The scene that surrounds them is breathtaking and tranquil: from the green of the land to the pale blue of the sky and sea. A beautiful moment captured from a beautiful day.
