Outdoor Weddings in Fairfield County

Outdoor Weddings in Fairfield County are beautiful events. There are a variety of places that are perfect for Outdoor Weddings in Fairfield County, but one of the best locations in the surrounding area is Tod’s Point. Tod’s Point, also known as Greenwich Point Park, is a population location for nature lovers in Greenwich, Connecticut. Bride and groom Stephanie and Casey took pictures at this location on their July 7th wedding day, in between the ceremony and reception. After a traditional church marriage ceremony at Sacred Heart Church, also located in Greenwich, the bride and groom hopped into an old fashioned two door convertible and drove up to Tod’s Point. The drive up to Tod’s Point gave the bride and groom some time alone in the first few minutes of their marriage. Tod’s Point is a gorgeous look out point in what is more officially called Greenwich Point Park. The area was once owned by J. Kennedy Tod and his family, which is how the spot acquired its nickname. The scenery that encompasses the grounds of Tod’s Point is breathtaking, with exquisite views of the Connecticut coastline and lush wooded areas that are filled with a variety of flora and fauna. This photo from Stephanie and Casey’s journey through Tod’s Point on their wedding day, shows the little hunter green convertible cruising up the winding roadways that lead into the park. The scene looks like one from a classic movie, with the bride and groom as the leading lady and man. The pair drive over perfectly paved roadway, with trees rising up from the grass on either side of pavement. Greenery surrounds the car on all sides, and the image has an ambiance of tranquility. The hum of the car’s engine is the only noise for miles, as Stephanie and Casey drive forward into the future.
