A Private Residence Boston Wedding is a wonderful occasion that displays the heart of New England charm. Bride and groom, Ashley Halpin and Alden Karr, held their Private Residence Boston Wedding at the home of the bride’s family in Dedham, Massachusetts. Dedham is a historical town in Norfolk County, located on Boston’s southwest border. Ashley and Alden’s wedding day here was a joyful event. The day began with a marriage ceremony at Pilgrim Church in Sherborn, Massachusetts where the bride and groom became a wife and husband. It was a gorgeous summer Saturday in July of 2012, and Ashley and Alden were surrounded by their family and friends as they said “I do”. Following the church ceremony, the couple and their guests continued the celebration at Ashley’s parents’ home for an outdoor reception. This picture from the wedding shows the scene that welcomed guests as they walked into the event. A long row of carefully placed stones line the entrance to the property, giving the entrance a country feel. On a column at the end of the stone fence, a large sheer white bow hangs. A bouquet of baby’s breath is attached to the bow, and an ivory wooden sign rises up from the ground with the words “Wedding” painted across its surface. The setting around the sign is serene, with the trees and grass glowing under the attention of the summer sun. It is the picture perfect image of the moment before an amazing night of dancing and laughter is about to begin.
