Inn at Longshore Wedding | Deidra + Pete

Deidra and Pete met in the beautiful state of New Hampshire at a work event. As committed as Pete was to his job, Deidra assumed his focus would keep relationships off the radar. However, Pete surprised her a few months after their initial meeting by asking her out. The Inn at Longshore wedding was the perfect place to make the rest history.

This fun-loving couple is all about enjoying life, supporting their family and America, and having a great party! Their event was one for the record books with American flag socks and a gorgeous venue that wowed the guests.

Some shots that are sure to cause joyful tears were captured as Deidra prepared for the wedding at her mother’s home. She aided Deidra by tying the back of her dress and helping her slip into a gorgeous white pair of heels that would transport her down the aisle to become a Mrs. Lodge and her bridal party were photographed in her parent’s yard, which has fabulous views of the close-by golf course, and made for some scenic opportunities.

Their ceremony at St. James Church in Connecticut included a full Mass. The towering ceilings were painted deep blue and delicate gold, with stunning architecture to compliment the scene. Deidra walked arm in arm with her parents down the long aisle to where Pete awaited.

Moving and celebratory, the Mass and ceremony were performed by relatives of the couple, Father Thomas and Father Brian. The family was thrilled beyond words to witness such a beautiful union, and it shows in the smiles captured on film. After vows, the two slipped away for some lovely portraits made even more perfect by the incredible sunset lighting.

After the nuptials became official, it was time to party! The Inn at Longshore wedding reception in Westport, Connecticut was the idyllic spot. Long ago a large home, it is now open to the public for events. The great outdoors lent their aid at this venue, with the large party taking every chance they got for pictures. Also, captured on film were important moments like the first dances, cake cutting and toasts. This group knew how to dance and let loose with an awesome celebration that will never be forgotten.
